Kate recently helped bag groceries and raise awareness at the annual Cancer Day at Scotts on October 1st, 2008. Kate was among the many celebrity/volunteer baggers that bagged groceries at local Scotts and Kroger stores. 2% of all food sales on October 1st at all local Scotts and Kroger stores were donated to Fort Wayne area cancer organizations.
